Are you an effective leader in crisis scenarios? The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of adaptive leadership approaches in changing environments. The complexity of circumstances is further compounded when different enabling and governing constraints, priorities and perspectives exist. This workshop will give you the skills needed to lead teams through simple, complicated, complex and chaotic scenarios. You will learn how to categorize scenarios according to the Cynefin framework, deepen your understanding of various perspectives, and work through simulated case studies to design context-appropriate crisis navigation strategies.
Learning objectives
At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
Classify the complexity of clinical challenges using the Cynefin framework
Recognize various perspectives to be considered in crisis-related communicationsÂ
Gain skills in navigating crisis-related clinical challenges through simulated case studies
